I love the wolf. Because it represents the Gaurdian of all the land on the Earth. It also has the highest quality of life, freedom and the love from it's pack and family.

I am in a bit a quandary regarding this order. I have not received it. The UPS tracking shows it coming to Canada then going to California. I have not been able to contact UPS as they only seem to want to hear from US addresses. Fine Art America has not been of any assistance in getting me connected with my order. As a result of this experience, I do not plan on ordering anything more from this supplier. Too bad, there are a lot of nice things on their website. If this matter gets sorted out, I will update this review. Update: my order eventually arrived and I am quite happy with it.

I probably will NOT purchase from this site again. The quality of the puzzle was just okay, for example there were many pieces where the backing was delaminating. (See 2 photos) Additionally, the size was advertised as 20" x 28". The finished puzzle size was actually 19-5/8" x 26-1/8". I feel that skimping on the size resulted in the face of the bottom kitty being half obscured when framed. This is the most I've ever paid for a puzzle that I expected to be perfect. (I could only select 1 photo. Please email me if you want photos of puzzle pieces delaminating.)

I haven't done the puzzle yet but I was very pleased with the speed it was sent. The puzzle itself is brilliant I only wish I were able to find Linda Carruth's puzzles in England

Artist's Description

Charles Eugène Jules Marie Nungesser (March 15, 1892 - May 8, 1927) was a First World War French flying ace rating third highest in the country for air combat victories. He travelled to South America where he worked as an auto mechanic before becoming a professional racer. His interest in racing soon led him to flying airplanes. When WWI broke out, he returned to France. As a military pilot, he was transferred to Escadrille VB106 in July 1915 and shot down his first plane. By the time Nungesser left VB106, he had flown 53 bombing missions. He was later attached to the famous Lafayette Escadrille, composed of American volunteers. By the end of 1916, he had claimed 21 air kills. He was often so hobbled by wounds and injuries that he had to be helped into his cockpit. By May 1918, he had 35 victories. He finished the war with 43 official victories, the third highest number among French fliers behind René Fonck and Georges Guynemer. He received dozens of military decorations from France, B...
